Privacy Policy — FIFITOOLS

This page explains how FIFITOOLS ("we", "our", "the site") handles information when you use fifitools.online. We wrote it in plain language on purpose — if anything is unclear, please contact us.

1. Tool inputs stay on your device

The overwhelming majority of tools on this site — including the password generator, JSON formatter, hash generator, base64 encoder, image compressor, palette from image, unit converter, BMI/age/GPA/tip calculators, sleep-sound players and the fake-tweet generator — run entirely inside your browser. The text, files or images you paste or upload are processed locally and are never sent to our servers.

A small number of tools work by launching a third-party search (for example, Reverse Image Search, Identify a Song and Recipe Search). Those tools open a link to another website; whatever you upload or search there is governed by that site's own privacy policy, not ours.

2. Information we do collect

Basic request logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, user-agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. These logs are retained for a short period and are not used to build a profile of you.
Aggregate analytics. We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which tools are popular and where errors happen. Analytics are aggregated — we do not know who you are as an individual.
Tool-request form. If you use our "Request a tool" or contact forms, we receive whatever you type into them (including your email if you provide it). We use that only to reply to you.

3. Cookies

FIFITOOLS itself uses a very small number of cookies and localStorage entries — mostly to remember your theme preference and, for a handful of tools, your last-used settings. Third-party services described below may set additional cookies.

4. Advertising

To keep FIFITOOLS free, we may show advertising from Google AdSense and/or other ad networks. These services may use cookies and similar identifiers to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of Google's personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
You can opt out of many third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info/choices.

5. Children's privacy

FIFITOOLS is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

6. Your rights (GDPR, CCPA)

If you are in the EU/UK or California, you have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of any personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Because we deliberately store as little as possible, in most cases we don't hold personal data about you at all. You can exercise any of these rights by contacting us — see below.

7. Data retention

Server logs are retained for up to 30 days. Contact and tool-request messages are retained for as long as needed to answer them, then deleted. Aggregate analytics do not identify individuals and may be retained indefinitely.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Material changes will be noted on the homepage.
