Our story

FIFITOOLS started as a simple frustration: the top results for common utilities — "password generator", "rain sounds for sleep", "JSON formatter" — were almost always crowded with popups, mandatory signups, aggressive tracking or paywalled features that used to be free. We built FIFITOOLS to be the opposite of that: a single site where useful tools open instantly, run in your browser, and never ask you to create an account.

What we build

The site currently offers tools across 10 categories: sleep & focus sounds (rain, white noise, brown noise, pink noise), developer utilities (JSON formatter, regex tester, hash generator, base64), everyday calculators (BMI, age, GPA, loan, tip), generators (passwords, QR codes, usernames, palettes), viral micro-tools (roast generator, soulmate finder, decision wheel) and hardware-driven tools that only work in a browser (mic test, webcam test, speed test, metronome). Every tool is designed to solve one specific job well.

How we work

• Runs in your browser. Almost every tool — password generator, image compressor, JSON formatter, hash generator, palette from image — processes your input locally. Your data never leaves your device.
• No accounts, no tracking your inputs. You never need to sign up. We use standard privacy-friendly analytics to see which tools are popular, but the content you type or upload is not sent to us.
• Fast by default. We ship a small, static bundle and lazy-load anything heavy so the tools open in under a second on typical connections.
• Free forever. The site is funded by unobtrusive advertising so the tools can stay free for everyone.

Who's behind FIFITOOLS

FIFITOOLS is built and maintained by an independent developer who wanted a home for the small utilities they were tired of rebuilding for every project. There's no VC funding, no growth team and no roadmap of "premium tiers" — just useful tools, added when we can make them well.
